Bremen & Bremerhaven

Welcome to the maritime world of knowledge and experience "Havenwelten Bremerhaven"! Between the Old and New Harbors and Bremerhaven's city center, an exciting mix of museums, shopping centers, residential and commercial areas awaits you - also from an architectural point of view. Here are a few highlights:

The "Klimahaus Bremerhaven" takes you on a journey around the world along the 8th degree of longitude, where you can get to know the different climate zones, sometimes sweating, sometimes freezing. The "German Emigration Center" takes you on a touching journey through the history of emigration and immigration. In one of the smallest German zoos, Bremerhaven Zoo, you can experience around 300 animals whose home is on the water and in cold regions in a striking rocky landscape and large aquariums.

The "German Maritime Museum", a research museum of the Leibniz Society, displays unique exhibits such as the Bremen cog from 1380 or special ships in the museum harbor and sheds light on the complex relationship between man and the sea.
