Balchik is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Bulgaria, an international resort with a rich history, amazing architecture and beautiful nature. It is located in northeastern Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast, 40 km from Varna.
The International Choir Festival "Black Sea Sounds" is a true celebration of song, the sea, harmony, beauty and friendship.
In the previous editions of the festival, 214 choirs, more than 5500 singers from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Israel, Slovakia, USA, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Germany, France, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Netherlands, Denmark, Croatia, Poland, Moldova, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece
The big goal of the festival is to build bridges between nations, cultures, composers, conductors and choirs from all over the world.

de byzantinske, bulgarsk-slaviske og osmanniske civilisationer
i dag giver de grund til, at dette velsignede område er
kaldet "Land med syv civilisationer".
