See ships, go on board, meet sailors, have plank talks - SAIL Bremerhaven 2020 from August 13 to 17 is a must for everyone who wants to get close to shipping and its people. Every five years, it turns Bremerhaven into the "Capital of Windjammers". In addition to international understanding, the focus is on the "queens of the seas", i.e. the windjammers. Whether three- or four-master, barque or full-rigged ship - interested sailors have many opportunities to pursue the charm of historic ships. More than 250 small and large ships will fill the harbors. Flagship is the barque "Alexander von Humboldt II" with home port Bremerhaven.
